Turbine assembly work has been started in Ilısu Dam in Mardin, using the 2 powerhouse cranes with 250 T capacity built for Andritz. The cranes work in tandem during the assembly of turbine rotor and stator parts, with the heaviest piece being approximately 500 tons.
